LoverGirl production facility exterior

LoverGirl

A Purpose-Built Facility

Commissioned in 2025, we built this plant around one requirement: that the ten-thousandth unit leaves the line identical to the first. Everything downstream of that — the layout, the climate control, the inspection gates — follows from it.

How It Runs

Material Intake to Packing

Material Intake at the LoverGirl facility

Material Intake

Incoming batches are logged and held for verification before release to the floor.

Moulding at the LoverGirl facility

Moulding

SensiSkin™ silicone and TPE blends are poured and cured to a fixed process, with gel-filled forms added for natural weight and response.

Assembly at the LoverGirl facility

Assembly

Skeleton, joints, and shell are assembled at dedicated stations in sequence — full articulation across 32 points of movement.

Painting at the LoverGirl facility

Painting

Each face and body is finished with 8 layers of hand-applied paint, checked against a reference standard between coats.

Inspection at the LoverGirl facility

Inspection

Every unit is checked against a reference standard before it is cleared to pack.

Packing at the LoverGirl facility

Packing

A signed pre-pack inspection card is enclosed with every shipment.

Production Steps

The Manufacturing Pipeline

Material Intake & Staging

Every shipment arrives on the rooftop intake platform. Materials are logged, verified against order specs, and held in climate-controlled staging until they clear incoming QC. We maintain continuous inventory of SensiSkin™ silicone, TPE compounds, gel fill, and paint batches.

  • ✓ Batch verification & tagging
  • ✓ Climate-controlled staging bays
  • ✓ Material segregation by compound

SensiSkin™ Silicone Moulding

Our proprietary SensiSkin™ silicone is poured into temperature-monitored moulds. The compound cures to achieve a specific tensile strength and tactile response. We monitor pour temperature, mould temperature, and cure time continuously.

  • ✓ Temperature range: 22–24°C (mould), 85–88°C (cure)
  • ✓ Cure time: 4–6 hours per cycle
  • ✓ 500+ active moulds across both buildings

Mould Injection

Once the silicone skin cures, we inject a proprietary gel compound into the form cavities. This adds weight, movement resistance, and a natural bounce response. Each injection is measured by weight to ±2g tolerance.

  • ✓ Gel formulation is temperature-sensitive
  • ✓ Injection weight tolerance: ±2g per unit
  • ✓ Cure time: 2–3 hours

TPE mould inspection

TPE Internal Structure

Building 2 produces TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) internal skeletons and articulation rigging. These moulds are larger and heavier, requiring dedicated stations and extended cure windows. Every mould is visually inspected before release.

  • ✓ TPE cure: 6–8 hours
  • ✓ Post-cure inspection: 100% visual
  • ✓ 32-point articulation rigging per unit

Mould Storage

Skeleton, joints, ball-bearings, and silicone skin are assembled at dedicated stations. Each unit's 32 articulation points are tested for full range of motion, tensioning, and durability before it moves to finishing.

  • ✓ 32-point articulation check per unit
  • ✓ Range-of-motion testing
  • ✓ Assembly time: 3–4 hours

The Unglamorous Details

Environment & Protocol

Climate Control

Moulding and cure areas run under controlled temperature and humidity to keep every batch consistent.

Air Handling

Filtered air handling in production areas reduces contamination during moulding and finishing.

Hygiene Protocol

Gowning, glove, and handling procedures are enforced at every station that touches finished skin.
